Perfect for protecting and maintaining curl patterns, resulting in less frizz and longer lasting curl days, JSL Essential’s Sleep Set makes a great alternative to ‘pineappling’. Unlike the pineappling method, our super soft buffs combined with our fully lined Satin Sleep Caps won’t leave an indentation caused by scrunchies or stretch out/straighten the hair, which can happen with shorter hair styles that have to be pulled tight to get into a scrunchie.
Our buffs are made from 100% Microfiber Polyester, which makes them soft, breathable and super stretchy. With moisture wicking abilities, our buffs repel moisture rather than absorb and hold onto it, resulting in moisture molecules reaching the air more effectively where they can evaporate, leaving you moisture and frizz free. Our sleep caps are made from 100% Satin Polyester, which also repels moisture. These accessories combined can help reduce friction and moisture being absorbed by your pillow, resulting in knot-free locks and helping to keep curls in place and in-tact.

Directions for use: Open the tube and pull it over your head all the way down to your neck (like a scarf). Pull it back over your head all the way to your forehead, covering your curls. Place sleep cap over the buff and secure with elasticated fastening. Carefully remove in the morning, fluff, pick and go!
PLEASE NOTE: Our Sleep Sets are designed for use on dry hair to protect your curls and reduce frizz during the night. We do not recommend you use our Sleep Sets on wet hair as there is a small chance this could cause some slight discoloration.

Well eat your heart out Marge Simpson but hello heavenly refresh days!
Coupled with the hair mist this has improved refresh days for me. I also use a satin pillowcase and together it all helps combat frizz. The buff is a really beautiful fabric and sits and stays there perfectly. The satin cap feels so lovely to touch and has an adjustable elastic band so it doesn’t move during sleep hours. I haven’t tried any others so have nothing to compare it to, but I am very happy with this and also like to support smaller businesses that create with passion rather than the mass market.
