JSL products have been a new hair experience for me!

My curly hair is a lover of protein and JSL products include natural prominent sources of it.
Not only that, I’m in love with the scents, heavenly. My reset routine would include the
whole range; clarifying and soothing shampoo, conditioner, leave-In, foam and gel. A perfect
balanced mix of protein and moisture. Affordable products that make you feel you’ve just
walked out of a spa and most importantly that work! ❤

For my fine curly hair, I used JSL gentle shampoo and conditioner and then went on to use
as my stylers JSL foam and gel. The stylers are amazing on their own, but used together are
a real power house. They don’t weigh your hair down and work brilliantly together. I love
using the whole “family” of products because they are gentle on your hair, plus the smell is
amazing, and your hair feels clean and nourished. I always use the foam first and the gel to
seal everything in before scrunching. Highly recommend these products and I will be
repurchasing.

WOW, what can I say JSL Essentials are my holy grail!!! I have tried many of the big brand
curly products and I never ever get these results. My hair is so soft, my waves/curls are so
much better, they hold their curl for 4 days before I rewash. I use the refresher in-between
washes and this reinvigorates my curls perfectly to last till my next wash day. All I can say is
thank you JSL Essentials, I will most definitely be reordering my holy grail 🥰

I bought the starter kit and have to say the clarifying shampoo is just brilliant for getting the
grime right out of my hair, cleansed and refreshed. The gel gives me great curls with no
crunch and great definition. The starter kit has some skin care and the body lotion is lovely. I
love that these products are all natural and from a wonderful woman Katie.

As I began my curly hair journey about four years ago, I struggled with a simple routine. I
was overwhelmed at the number of products out there. I knew that most of the products
marketed were not made for my hair type or texture. (Baby fine hair, low porosity hair)
Almost every product weighed my hair down. Then as I was desperately searching for an
easier routine that would work with South Florida, USA weather, I found JSL Essentials. I
emailed the company in March of 2023 hoping that they would ship to the US. I was
extremely ecstatic to learn that they did. I placed an order, and the rest is history.
I have been using JSL Essentials a little over a year and it has been a consistent hair brand in
my routine. The scent, the packaging, and the quality supersedes anything I have ever
tried. If you struggle with definition, frizz, and are looking for a clean brand owned by the
most incredible woman…this is the right brand for you.

I ordered the taster set after Victoria (@curlycooper26) recommended using JSL products.
My parcel arrived swiftly and I have to say I have had great results with the clarifying and
soothing shampoos together with the leave in conditioner and foam. The range has a
beautiful scent and I will definitely order larger sizes when used up.

Conditioner: the conditioner is lightweight which is great for my fine hair and gives lots of
volume. It makes my hair super shiny and I always get compliments on how nice my hair
smells after using it.
Foam: this is a game changer for my hair! Seriously impressive volume and a great hold, this
helps my curls last for days.
Refresh spray: I use this on wet hair to give my curls structure which helps with styling. It
refreshes my day 3 curls to stretch out wash day by a day or two as well, hero product!

I use both JSL shampoo and conditioner. Not only is the smell great, they leave my hair
feeling clean and well cared for. I use the jelly and foam (my hairdresser loves the foam) to
get a nice hold. I don’t like sticky hair, and these products make my hair feel soft and never
sticky. I sometimes use the foam for a refresh, it’s so good.
I love the fact that you can buy a sample of the products so that you can try them first, to
see if they suit. And they don’t cost the earth!

There are so many things to love about JSL Essentials! 2 big ones for me are the fact that
they are made using all natural ingredients and that they are vegan. They all smell divine!
The whole range works well on my hair, but my absolute favourite is the foam – it’s the best
one I’ve used! It adds a bit of grit to my hair, giving both volume and hold (although I do also
use the gel on top), but it also gives great longevity. Its choc-a-bloc with protein which my
hair loves. I can’t recommend this brand enough!
